Steve Kinderman, a native of Eau Claire, has been Photo Director
of The Eau Claire Press Company since 1985. In the 10 years
prior to 1985, he worked as a reporter and copy editor for
the Leader-Telegram and as assistant editor of the Country
Today.
Dan Reiland,
a photojournalism graduate of Winona State University, has
been a staff photographer for the Leader-Telegram since 1986,
where he began his career as a summer intern. Reiland is a
native of Rochester, Minn.
Shane Opatz, a staff photographer since 1998, joined the Leader-Telegram
from Southwest Suburban Publishing, based out of Shakopee,
Minn., where he worked as a photojournalist for seven suburban
newspapers. Opatz is a graduate of St. Cloud State University.
Andi Stempniak joined the Leader-Telegram in October of 2000
from the Marshfield News Herald, where she worked after graduating
from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a degree in
journalism and art.
